wake up wake the sun

Yes, I’m still alive…

I’ve been a bit lazy about outfit posts, especially now because I’m at Brown and don’t have any means of connecting my camera to my computer except through my printer, which is not with me.  So the following photo was taken with…Photo Booth.

It’s summer and it’s warm.  This is unusual for me, because I’m used to dreary rainy summers in Oxford.  It was also raining a lot this past week at Brown and everyone was freaking out, but I had to remind myself that (unfortunately) such weather is not normal for summer.

There’s a trip to the beach this weekend, but I’m only going if I can find this outfit:

I’m seeking some advice…I do a lot of walking, so I need some comfortable, yet stylish shoes.  I have flat feet, so it is preferable to have a bit of a heel, but not too much (no more than 4-5 inches), preferably $100 or cheaper.  Here are some pictures of shoes from some of my favourite stores that meet my qualifications (although I have no idea how comfortable they are for walking).

now i do wish it, love it, long for it

I have recently become obsessed with 43things.com again. I created a new user name (dodgycupcake, surprise surprise). It’s sort of a healthy addiction in that you gain a bit of perspective on what you want to accomplish in life, but it is an addiction all the same. Ah well, dreaming is one of my favourite things to do.

I took the 43 Things Personality Quiz and found out I’m a

Apparently, I am like .69% of the people who took that quiz. …
